LafargeHolcim, a Franco-Swiss company and a leading manufacturer of building materials, this year expects to complete the modernization of its factory in Volsk, Saratov Region, with RUB 18.5 bn of investments, the press service of the Saratov Region’s Ministry of Economic Development informed RIA Novosti.
The French SNF Group will invest ₽6 billion primarily in the construction of acrylamide and polyacrylamide production unit at the site of the Saratovorgsintez, petrochemical enterprise, Andrey Arkhipov, the Minister of Industry and Energy of the region said.

As said Oleg Galkin, head of the regional Ministry of Investments, during today's press conference, in late spring and early summer, the partners from South Korea will again visit the Saratov Region. Navien is one of the largest manufacturers of heating systems in South Korea. The line of its boilers even includes a hybrid model that is able to run on both gas and solar energy. Boilers are exported to Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Japan, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Netherlands, United States, New Zealand and Brazil.
