On Monday, July 14, the French company Air Liquide launched an industrial gas production plant in the Balakovo district of the Saratov region, the press service said.

Navien, the South Korean company, that manufactures heating diesel and gas boilers, might launch production in the Saratov Region. One of the sites proposed to the Investor is the Priority Development Area, established in Petrovsk. As said Oleg Galkin, head of the regional Ministry of Investments, during today's press conference, in late spring and early summer, the partners from South Korea will again visit the Saratov Region. Navien is one of the largest manufacturers of heating systems in South Korea. The line of its boilers even includes a hybrid model that is able to run on both gas and solar energy. Boilers are exported to Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Japan, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Netherlands, United States, New Zealand and Brazil.

As TASS was informed by the press service of the region’s government, the total investment in the plant modernization amounted to RUB 18 billion.
