Rusvinyl (a joint venture between SIBUR and Solvay, Kstovo) has launched a pilot production of sodium hypochlorite, which is used in the production of antiseptics, disinfectants and bleaching agents for household, industrial and medical purposes. After pilot operation and market research, the plant plans to switch to its commercial production, the press service of the company said.
RusVinyl, Russia's largest producer of polyvinyl chloride (joint production of SIBUR and Belgian Solvay) plans to find a partner for industrial production of silicate blocks from sludge, that is a byproduct of PVC production, as reported by the press service of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region after the visiting meeting of the Committee on Ecology at the enterprise.
UniCeramics LLC, a subsidiary of the British Lins Wallpaper (produces wallpaper), has registered the rights to a land plot for the construction of ceramic tile production facility in Dzerzhinsk. As Kommersant-Provolzhye was informed in the regional Ministry of Economic Development, the project documentation is being developed and it is planned to launch the plant in 2022. The plant production capacity will be 25 million square meters of ceramic tiles per year.
