Swiss company Swiss Krono Group is investing about RUB 20 billion in the construction of Russia's largest timber mill for the production of oriented strand boards in the Kostroma region. There will be 150 new jobs created with its opening here, the press office of the Kostroma region administration reported on Wednesday, following the meeting of the Council for Investment Raising, chaired by Governor Sergei Sitnikov.
Largest timber mill in Russia will be built in Sharya in the Kostroma Region. Representatives of SWISS KRONO, LLC, the investor, informed the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Central Federal District Igor Schegolev that it will take four years during his visit to Sharya.
