On Tuesday, April 16, Sergey Levchenko, Governor of the Irkutsk Region, met with representatives of the Republic of Korea, including Kwon Tae Geun, President of Apollo Co., Ltd., and Ryoo Nam Hoo, Director General of Apollo Co., Ltd. The parties negotiated the launch of Apollo Co., Ltd. operations in the region. The Korean company is a producer of equipment for oil, gas, and chemical facilities, power plants, operates in other industries and provides related maintenance services.
Ilim Group started implementation of a major investment project of construction of a new factory for the production of cardboard and other packaging materials in the city of Ust-Ilimsk in the Irkutsk region. According to the group's press service, investments in the project will be about one billion dollars.
