A Turkish company is planning to produce agricultural machines and equipment together with Dagestan’s authorities, as announced on Thursday by the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of the Republic of Dagestan.
Ramazan Abdulatipov, Head of Dagestan, and Lev Kuznetsov, Russian Minister of North Caucasus Affairs, opened the Russian-Italian plant of porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles with a design capacity of over 2 mln sq. m per year in the Kumtorkalinsky District of the Republic, a TASS correspondent reports. The amount of investment in the project was almost RUR 1.5 bln.
The Chinese ZTE intends to build two solar power stations in Kaspiysk and Khunzakh and a small hydro power station in the settlement of Akhty in Dagestan. Those intentions were fixed in a memorandum at the III Russia-China Expo in Yekaterinburg, said the press-office of the administration of the head and the government of the republic.
