Sanatmetal factory, a subsidiary of Sanatmetal, Hungary, launched production of a knee endoprosthesis component from Russian raw materials in Obninsk, Kaluga Region. The implant production is important for such areas as traumatic surgery and orthopedics as it helps the elders to maintain active longevity, Mikhail Murashko, Russian Minister of Health said on Friday during his visit to the factory as part of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.
