Henkel began producing Fa-branded antibacterial hand spray at the company's cosmetics plant in Noginsk, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region said.

In Noginsk, Moscow region, the expansion of Henkel, one of the largest cosmetic factories, was completed, the company said. This is the only production site of the Henkel cosmetics unit in Russia.

Henkel, a German chemical and industrial company, is opening a dry mortar plant today in the Leningrad Region. According to experts, investments in the production capacity of about 80 thousand tons of products per year amounted to €10 million, the new project will enable Henkel to increase its share in the Russian dry mortar market from 6% to 10.5% by 2022.

The Henkel company intends to expand the production and logistic capacities of its Tosno plant. The official start of the new investment project will take place on June 15. Due to the implementation of the project, the company may start the production of silicone sealants in the territory of Russia. Over 40 types of products are to be produced under the Moment, Makroflex, Ceresit, Loctitte brands.

Henkel Bautechnik has opened a plant to manufacture the Ceresit and Thomsit construction dry mixes near Novosibirsk in a declining market. The plant’s capacity at launch is 60,000 tons, with production capacity of 150,000 tons to be achieved by 2018, OOO Henkel Bautechnik CEO Alexander Zaitsev said at the opening ceremony.

Henkel Bautechnik, a Henkel subsidiary, manufactures construction and home improvement materials, including glues and dry mixes. The Novosibirsk plant is Henkel Bautechnik’s fifth outfit in Russia after plants in Kolomna, Chelyabinsk, Ulyanovsk and Nevinnomyssk. Investment in production over the past five years reached RUB 3.5 billion, according to company materials.

Henkel Bautechnik invested RUB 744 million (around €16 million) in the Novosibirsk plant. The expected break-even period is going to be five years under the best-case scenario, the company’s press service told Vedomosti.
