Igor Artamonov, governor of the Lipetsk region, together with Roman Petrukhin, CEO of Lipetsk special economic zone and Oleg Prozorov, head of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at a groundbreaking ceremony today launched the construction of a workshop for the production of bead wire in the territory of the Bekaert Lipetsk plant.

A new bead wire production line is expected to be launched in the first half of 2022. Total declared investments will exceed RUB 1.7 billion, and the project will create 80 new jobs.

Oleg Korolev, the head of the region, informed TASS about it following the business meeting with Jean-Arthur Regibeau, the Belgium Ambassador in Russia.
