Hochland Russland expects to double its milk processing and cheese production capacities in the Belgorod Region.

The Russian subsidiary of the German cheese producer Hochland, Hochland Russland, has launched, after modernization, the cheese production at its plant in the Belinsky district of the Penza Region, the press service of the Regional Government reports. Within three years, the company invested RUB 1.85 billion, which were used to re-equip the production shop and increase the enterprise capacity — it is designed to produce 6 thousand tons of products per year. Raw materials are purchased from local producers.

Hochland Russland, LLC (subsidiary of German Hochland SE) has launched a brined soft cheese line in the Prokhorovsky district of the Belgorod Region. This was reported in the Region Economic Development Department. As a result, the enterprise production capacity was doubled, 8 thousand sq. m of additional production and storage space were built. The company's demand for raw milk in 2020 increased to 70 thousand tons. The project was implemented at the company's own expense — RUB 1.5 billion, the payback period will be four years.
