Gazprom signed an agreement with the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation and the Russian engineering group REP Holding to localize the production of compressors in Russia, Gazprom reported.

The updated Pajero Sport crossover (so-called Mitsubishi’s «legend») of the last generation is again manufactured in Russia at the Kaluga PSMA Rus plant in Rosva industrial park. This is a diesel version of the car, which will be presented on the market in four trim levels: Invite 6MT, Intense 8AT, Instyle 8AT, and Ultimate 8AT. It is noted that localizing model production allowed not only to preserve the previous characteristics and modifications, but also to expand the list of basic options.

The Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation will buy 25% in the Russian subdivision of the Japanese retailer Uniqlo – Uniqlo Rus, LLC. The Mitsubishi’s demand has been already approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). The companies agreed on the future transaction on September 11.

Mitsubishi Corporation will build a steel pipe factory in Russia, according to the Nikkei newspaper, as quoted by TASS. The corporation will invest $ 90 million in this project that will involve Nakad, an Osaka-based industrial company, the newspaper writes. Pipes that will be produced at this factory will be used in the Russian oil and gas industry.

It is assumed that the factory will start operating by mid-2018.
