On June 18, the Besins Healthcare plant was opened in the Yaroslavl industrial park Novoselki. The launch ceremony was attended by Governor Dmitry Mironov, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the heads of relevant committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Federation Council, as well as the owners and managers of Besins Healthcare.

Besins Healthcare pharmaceutical plant has been completed in Novoselki Industrial Park, Yaroslavl.

The company is to produce micronized progesterone, a female hormone equivalent. The drug has been widely used in obstetrics and gynaecology and is included in the essential medicines list.

European pharmaceutical company Besins Healthcare will invest about 500 million rubles in the construction of a pharmaceutical factory in the Yaroslavl region. The company will launch the production of a full cycle of Utrozhestan for the treatment of gynecological diseases in 2019. This was reported today by the Press Office of the Government of the region.

“It is planned to start construction in 2017 and production - in 2019. The new factory will produce a full cycle of Utrozhestan, which is included in the all-Russian list of vital medicines. The scope of investment in the project is 500 million rubles,” the Press Office added.

Besins Healthcare SA will build a new drug manufacturing plant in Yaroslavl Region. The new facility will produce Utrogestan which is included in the Russia's Essential Drugs List. Project investment will account for RUB 500 mln, the launch of commercial production is scheduled for 2019.
