A new large player can enter the energy market of the Black Earth Region. E.On Connecting Energies, LLC, the Russian subsidiary entity of one of the main European generating companies E.On, plans to build a boiler house and reconstruct two similar facilities in Stary Oskol by the end of 2019. New objects will be able to produce both thermal energy and electricity. Local authorities estimate investments to amount 3 billion rubles and promise to avoid higher tariffs. Analysts admit that the project can pay off before the stated deadlines.

A greenhouse complex with a total footprint of 60 hectares is to be built in Sharypovsky Area of Krasnoyarsk Region. The first stage will be launched in 2017. The construction agreement was signed by the regional government, Parus Agro Group and JSC E.ON Russia.

The international concern E.ON SE and its subsidiary OJSC E.ON Russia have held a launch ceremony for a third power unit at the Berezovskaya GRES (State District Power Plant) branch of OJSC E.ON Russia with capacity of 800 MW.

OJSC E.ON Russia began implementing the final stage of its investment programme – the construction of the third power unit at Berezovskaya GRES – in May 2011. The project cost is more than RUB 42.5 billion.
