KGP Greenhouses

The construction of a greenhouse factory by the Dutch KGP Greenhouses in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone was approved by the expert board of the Ministry of Economic Development in November 2015. The project will cost RUB 2.15 billion.

The Dutch manufacturer of hothouse constructions KGP Greenhouse with the project in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles is approved by the expert board of the Ministry of Economic development of the Russian Federation as the investor of the SEZ ‘Lipetsk’, Ivan Koshelev, the SEZ general director said.

In his words, the plant construction can be started in November of the current year, the production launch is planned for the autumn of 2016. The land plot of about 10 hectares at the first turn territory of the SEZ is allocated. The estimated capacity of the plant at the total load – 150 hectares of hothouse complexes per year.

Another resident, planning to build the plant on manufacturing industrial automation systems at the cost of 400 million rubles, is approved by the Board, as the SEZ press office reported.

Earlier experts more than once noted the lack of production of qualitative hothouse constructions at the territory of Russia.
