The new ISOPAN RUS factory is a subsidiary of the major Italian cooperation Gruppo Manni. It will produce up to 3 million square metres of sandwich panels per year.

The Deputy Governor of the Volgograd Region Alexander Dorzhdeyev, First Secretary of the Italian Embassy in the Russian Federation Niccolo Fontana and Vice-President of the Italian–Russian Chamber of Commerce were among the first to be shown the new production facilities.

The company now owns the most advanced facilities for the production of sandwich panels in Russia. The factory was constructed in the Volzhsky industrial zone in record time, two years from start to finish. Italian investors put up around 25 million euros for the construction of the factory.

The factory produces wall and roof sandwich panels with mineral wool and polyurethane insulation. It is one of the most popular materials in the industry today. Sandwich panels are used to make industrial and agricultural buildings, shopping kiosks and other facilities that require temperature control.

“Choosing the production site only came after we had developed ties with a number of Russian companies,” Gruppo Manni Vice President Francesco Manni stressed. “Despite the somewhat strained political relations with the European Union, we remain confident that Russia is a key partner for Italian companies, both now and in the years to come.”
