Groupe Bonduelle

Bonduelle Group is planning to increase capacity of its manufacturing sites in Krasnodar Territory by 14%, raising it to 250 mln cans per year. They will do so by investing 7 mln Euro, said Benoit Bonduelle, CEO of Bonduelle Development who is in charge of the Group’s business development in Russia.

At the press conference, he told that Bonduelle will develop manufacturing of canned foods in Kuban by launching a third production line at the factory in Timashevsk. Later, he said they will start investing in spring 2016, after the end of the current farming season and before the start of the next season.

“Five million Euros will be spent to increase output of green peas, and two million Euro – for production of corn. Our plans are to produce extra 10 million cans of green peas and 20 million cans of corn,” Mr. Bonduelle said.

He also noted that two plants in Krasnodar Territory produce 220 million cans of canned vegetables today. Thus, total manufacturing capacity may go up by 14% to 250 million cans.

CEO of Bonduelle Development Benoit Bonduelle said that the company sees tremendous potential for development and growth on the Russian market. “Russia is a strategic market for Bonduelle Group, not only in terms of sales volume, but also as a convenient venue for export and development of our business in the CIS states,” he stated.
