PepsiCo plans to start construction of a plant in the Novosibirsk Region. Vice-President of the company for corporate relations in Russia and Eastern Europe Sergey Glushkov and CEO of the Investment Development Agency of the Novosibirsk Region Aleksandr Zyryanov discussed the implementation of the project within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum. As specified by the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, the company is currently in the process of agreeing on the project timing and the amount of investment.
Arneg Novosibirsk plant, which is part of the Italian Arneg group, plans to double production in the region. On Wednesday, this was announced at the meeting of the Committee on Fiscal Policy of the Novosibirsk Regional Legislative Assembly by Aleksander Zyryanov, Head of the Investment Promotion Agency. According to him, in 2017, the plant produced about 5 thousand units of equipment. Currently, as Mr. Zyryanov clarified, the company acquired a land plot in the Industrial Logistics Park of the Novosibirsk Region, where additional capacities are to be located.

Tolmachevo's report states that the project is implemented within the framework of Novaport's cooperation with LSG Lufthansa Service Europa/Africa GmbH (LSG Sky Chefs). The German company is a co-founder of Tolmachevo Catering LLC. According to the airport's website, the current production facilities of Tolmachevo Catering occupy an area of about 1 thousand square meters. Its estimated capacity is 3 thousand meals per day.
The Austrian Kronospan is considering building a large sawmill facility in the Novosibirsk Region. This was announced at a press conference by Aleksander Zyryanov, Director General of the regional Investment Promotion Agency. He added that Kronospan, when choosing the region for the project, considers the Novosibirsk and Kaliningrad Regions. According to him, the company is interested in several sites in the Novosibirsk Region for the future production, including in the urban-type settlement of Gorny, where it is planned to establish the Priority Social and Economic Development Area. According to Mr Zyryanov, investment in the project is estimated at 20 billion rubles, and the cost of infrastructure construction is worth more than 1 billion rubles. It is expected that the plant will process 5 million cubic meters of wood per year. The company intends to commence construction within three years, said Aleksander Zyryanov.
At the Company’s factory in Novosibirsk, Coca-Cola HBC has launched two new production lines for juices and cold teas. Investments in the project amounted to 500 million rubles. According to a source in the company, “We launched two new lines for production of Rich juices and Nestea cold teas”.
