China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) affiliated with CNPC may take part in the construction of Amur Gas-Processing Plant (GPP). According to Gazprom press release, Aleksey Miller, Gazprom’s CEO, and Wang Yilin, Chairman of the CNPC’s Board of Directors, have concluded final negotiations on the participation of CPECC in the project. The company can obtain an EPC contract (including engineering, supply and construction) for the construction of a booster compressor plant, gas drying and gas fractionating units.
Gazprom plans to build Amur GPP in the area of the city of the Free Amur Region. The design capacity of the plant is 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. According to Interfax, the cost of construction is 790.6 billion rubles.
