Swiss concern Omya intends to invest up to 200 million rubles to increase the capacity of its plant located in the village of Subutak (the Chelyabinsk Region). The relevant agreement was reached between Boris Dubrovsky, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Harald Pfaler, CEO of the South-East division of Omya International AG, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Swiss concern Omya is implementing an investment project in the Plesetsk area of the Arkhangelsk Region to create a mining plant with a production capacity of 500 thousand tons of gravel per year. This is stated in the agreement signed today by the Arkhangelsk Rgion and Omya Ural LLC (part of the Omya concern) at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Swiss chemical concern Omya will invest 15 million euros to expand its Omya Ural enterprise to produce solid ground marble in the Kaluga Region. The relevant memorandum was signed on Thursday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) between the Kaluga Region Governor Anatoliy Artamonov and Harald Pfaller, the head of the South-East division of the Swiss concern.

The Press Service of the Regional Governor announced that the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region and Pierre Helg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation in the Russian Federation, launched a new line at the Omya plant, thanks to which the production capacity will increase by 50%.
