Regeneracija Group Ltd.

Slovenia’s Regeneracija intends to open a facility to manufacture polyester products in Kirov. Entrepreneurs and representatives of the Kirov authorities discussed cooperation yesterday at the Vyatka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kirov municipality’s press service reports.

Khimtorg Company Director Vladimir Vtyurin said that Russia currently has no such high-tech production facilities of this kind. Company representatives Mirco Raven and Peter Tomšic proposed launching an enterprise with the full production cycle in Kirov. According to businessmen from Slovenia, Kirov has favorable conditions for the implementation of such a project. “We have heard that Kirov has a favorable atmosphere for entrepreneurship. In addition, the site, utility equipment, cheap electricity, low taxes and leasing abilities are very attractive,” Tomšic said.

Kirov Mayor Vladimir Bykov noted that the city is interested in a project of this scale and is ready to provide assistance. On the one hand, such an enterprise means new jobs, while, on the other hand, it’s also a real opportunity to find a replacement for outdated technologies for the construction of municipal services.

The new production facility is to be located on the Sovietsky Highway near a Lukoil gas station. The plant will be built from scratch over two years. The planned area of workshops is 6,000—7,000 square meters. It is still too early to talk about the implementation period of the project. For now, investors are studying the sales market for their products in our region and neighboring regions and considering possible areas for joint work with city and regional leaders.
