Juteks

Slovenian floor covering manufacturer Juteks is to start construction on the second phase of its Vladimir Region-based factory in July of this year, pumping around 3 billion roubles (just under $60 million) into the project, according to the company’s Deputy Director Ivan Zaytsev.

“Construction will get under way sometime in July, with the second line being introduced two years later in 2017,” Zaystev stated.

The company’s Russian plant opened back in 2010 in Kameshkovo, Vladimir Region. It has a production capacity of 25 million cubic metres of linoleum per year, with a staff of more than 200. According to our sources, the company’s share in the Russian floor coverings market is 15%.

“During second phase of construction, the factory will be fitted with a second linoleum-production line with a capacity of 25 cubic metres per year. In addition, 20,000 square metres of warehouse space will be built and around 220 new jobs created,” Zaytsev added.

The new facility will also expand its production range to include vinyl tiles.

Juteks is a leading manufacturer of PVC flooring that operates in more than 40 countries, primarily in Europe, but also in the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The linoleum produced in the Vladimir Region is exported in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and CIS countries.
